The Shift Shop Results are in! I know, I’m a little late to the party here, I’ve been busy enjoying my Summer! Shift Shop is Beachbody’s newest home fitness program (released in July 2017) from new super-trainer, Chris Downing. It is a 3 week rapid-results program that is guaranteed to get you results, if followed correctly.
SO, before I share my results, let me tell you a little bit about the program.
Shift Shop progresses from 25 to 35 to 45 minute workouts between Week 1 through Week 3. This is a limited diet program that limits even more as it continues. As you overcome the obstacles you will begin to “shift” your mindset, which is where the magic happens. Your confidence will grow and you will reach goals you didn’t think possible!
- In Week 1 you will get rid of the foods that are holding you back and get a better balance of carbs, protein, and healthy fats.
- In Week 2 your body will adapt and the workouts increase by 10 minutes. You will cut back on the starchy carbs while increasing the proteins, veggies, and healthy fats.
- In Week 3, everything comes together. Workouts will increase to 45 minutes and you will be eating at your cleanest, eliminating starchy cabs completely.
While it may sound challenging, it is 100% doable. Nutrition is KEY when it comes to getting results with ANY fitness program and Shift Shop has done a great job at making the plan easy and simple. It even includes 3 weeks worth of meal plans for each calorie bracket, which takes the guess work out of meal planning!
I personally also incorporated Shakeology into my daily plan, which most definitely helped me fight the cravings. Shakeology is a superfood supplement (not a protein shake), that is designed to support your nutrition goals without sacrificing results. It also provides healthy energy and supports healthy digestion. I have been drinking Shakeology for over 4 years and STILL look forward to it every single day.
In addition, I used two products from the Beachbody Performance Line, Energize and Recover.
- Energize is a pre-workout drink (that tastes like lemonade!), that helps to boost your energy and endurance, increase muscle power output, and delay exercise-induced fatigue. **
- Recover is a post-workout drink (chocolate or orange flavor), that helps to reduce exercise-induced muscle soreness and jump-start recovery with timed-released proteins and phytonutrients. **
The workouts increase in intensity each week adding on 10 extra minutes. They are broken up in to Speed and Strength. Speed workouts are cardio and agility based while the Strength workouts incorporate weights. Throughout the program you also incorporate a short Core workout which greatly helps to pop those core/ab muscles! Overall the program is an intense workout; however, there is a modifier in every workout who makes each move lower impact.
I started running a test group the week after it came out. I had a great group of women commit to the program, many of which committed to Round 2 as well, which ends on Sunday! The results have been amazing (a handful are noted below).

Seriously guys, this is in 3 WEEKS! How amazing is that?! And these are just a small amount of results that have been submitted. Between the confidence gained and the new, strong, HEALTHY bodies that are transformed, I couldn’t be more excited!
My personal journey went well with few bumps along the way. I committed to 1 full round and loved it! I will admit, I wasn’t perfect with my nutrition. I had some treats here and there but overall, I was able to get more strict with my diet which in turn, helped my results. I have continued to implement the Shift Shop workouts into my schedule as they are a GREAT calorie burn!
